We endeavor to supply you with the optimal connection speed.
Our advertised connection speeds represent the maximum bandwidth and are not warranted.
End-user bandwidth depends on the following:
- the distance between the end user's adress and the telephone exchange,
- your internal installation (cabling, devices, wired or Wi-Fi connection, distance between devices...)

'Upstream' (also known as 'upload') is the speed at which your computer transfers data to the Internet, i.e. your upload speed.
'Downstream' (also known as download) is the speed your connection accesses data from the internet and loads this on your device. It is also known ass download speed.
'Mbps' stands for Megabit per second. It is a unit of measurement used in networks. Thus a megabit per second corresponds to a volume of data transferred in one second. Luxembourg Online‘s Internet connection speeds are all expressed in Mbps.
This device allows the separation of the low frequency signals (used for internet data) and high frequency signals (dedicated to telephone, fax and television signals).
Without a filter, interference and disturbance can occur during telephone calls or with the Internet connection. It is therefore pertinent to have a filter at the entry point of the line in to the customers premices.
We recommend you to not connect more than 3 telephones to a filtered DSL access point.
Technically, you can use the modem of your choice. We do however recommend you to use the equipments provided by Luxembourg Online.
If you prefer using your own device, then we cannot guarantee a total service, neither a full technical support im case you encounter issues linked to your modem.
"Fair use" can be understood as "reasonable usage". This policy allows for equal Internet quality for all customers. This means that in case of abuse, Luxembourg Online reserves the right to suspend or limit access to the service, during and up to the end of the billing term. In order to avoid such inconveniences, don't forget to check your consumption in Customer area.
If you move to an area covered by the Luxembourg Online network, then your contract will remain active. If this is not the case, your can cancel your subscription after the minimum cancelation notice. You can equally transfer your contract the subscription to another person, whereby the conditions of the contract must be upheld. For more information, contact us.
